Electricbase Power Ups
Terms and Conditions
Please read these terms and conditions carefully and make sure you understand them:
1. These terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”) apply to the “Electricbase Power Ups” promotion (the “Promotion”);
2. The Promotion is only open to Trade, Cash Account and Credit Account customers (the “Participant(s)”) trading with Electricbase, which is a trading name of Grafton Merchanting GB (the “Promoter”);
3. Unless the Promoter expressly agrees otherwise in writing, the Promotion excludes and is not available to:
3.1. Any customer without a Trade, Cash Account or Trade Credit Account with Electricbase;
3.2. Any customer of other brands of the Promoter not listed within these Terms and Conditions;
3.3. Any and all current employees of the Promoter, its group of companies or their immediate family members;
3.4. Any and all employees of any agencies or any other person officially connected with the Promotion or their immediate family members;
4. The Participant must be a resident in the UK during the calendar months the Promotion operates;
5. If the Participant is a limited company or another entity with separate legal identity the Participant’s representative must:
5.1. Be aged 18 or over;
5.2. Have permission of the Participant to take part in the Promotion;
6. The Promotion Period is from 1st April – 30th September 2017 (the “Promotion Period”) and transactions made outside of this time period will not count;
7. To enter the Promotion and become an entrant (the “Entrant”) the Participant must purchase goods to a minimum value of £75 (seventy-five) ex VAT in 1 (one) single transaction (the “Transaction”) on a collected order from a participating Electricbase branch during the Promotion Period;
8. Entrants to the Promotion shall be deemed to have read and accepted these Terms and Conditions
9. To participate in the Promotion the Participants trade accounts must be up to date throughout the Promotion Period and all returns/credits must be up to date;
10. An Entrant will receive:
10.1.1 (one) stamp (the “Stamp”) for every qualifying transaction per visit. Once the number of stamps reaches one of the redemption points they can then be redeemed for a gift as follows:
10.1.1. 10 stamps which provide the opportunity to be redeemed for a gift at their respective redemption point. 20 stamps which provide the opportunity to be redeemed for a gift at their respective redemption point. 30 stamps which provide the opportunity to be redeemed for a gift at their respective redemption point. 40 stamps which provide the opportunity to be redeemed for a gift at their respective redemption point. 50 stamps which provide the opportunity to be redeemed for a gift at their respective redemption point. Stamps can be collected throughout the Promotion Period and can only be redeemed at one of the redemption points. Once redeemed for a Gift at an appropriate redemption point, a new card will be provided at which point stamps may be collected again but will start from zero. Multiple redemption on the same card is not permitted. Stamps below the redemption point of 10 do not attract any Gift or other value.
10.2.1 (one) entry into the monthly prize draw (the “Monthly Prize Draw”) on the first stamp collected in that calendar month.
11. Online purchases are excluded from the Promotion and will not qualify for an Entry.
12. Entries are limited to 1 (one) Entry (to clarify, 1 (one) entry to the Monthly Prize Draw) per month;
13. The following gifts can be redeemed with the stamps during the Promotion Period
13.1.Gifts available:
13.1.1. 10 stamps redemption point: Babyliss Clipper, Salter Target electronic Scales, Remote Control Helicopter, Veho Pebble Smartstick.
13.1.2. 20 stamps redemption point: Veho Vecto Bluetooth Water Resistant Speaker, Amazon Fire 7” 8GB, KitVision Action Camera, Apple Shuffle.
13.1.3. 30 stamps redemption point: FitBit Fitness Band, Experience Gift Card, Folce Gusto Oblo Coffee Maker, Karcher WV2 Window Vac.
13.1.4. 40 stamps redemption point: Husky Beer Fridge, Henry Vacuum Cleaner, Bose SoundLink II Mini Bluetooth Speaker, RayBan Aviator Classic Sunglasses.
13.1.5. 50 stamps redemption point: Sonos Play 1, Bose SoundLink On Ear Bluetooth Headphones, Apple IPod Touch 16GB, 32in Smart HD TV.
14. There will be 6 Monthly Prize Draws available. The following prizes can be won as follows:
April: Pure DAB Radio
May: Amazon Fire 7” 8GB
June: Husky Beer Fridge
July: Weber Smokey Joe Original BBQ
August: TomTom Bandit Action Camera
September: TomTom Spark GPS Fitness Watch
Total number of prizes available each month is 3 (one per Electricbase region)
(“Monthly Prize Draw Prizes”)
15. The Promoter may collect personal information from Entrants, for example, information provided in their Entries during the course of the Promotion. The Promoter will use Entrants' information for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion and shall process such information in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. By entering the Promotion, the Entrant agrees to the collection, retention, usage and distribution of the Entrant’s personal information in order to process and contact the Entrant about the Entrant’s Promotion Entry. The Promoter shall use and take care of any personal information as described in its privacy policy, which can be found at www.electricbase.co.uk.
Winner Selection
16. ‘Monthly Prize Draw’ - All qualifying Entrants who have spent £75 ex. VAT on a collected order at Electricbase in the calendar month of the prize draw during the Promotion Period will be automatically placed into the Monthly Prize Draw for a chance to win a Monthly Prize Draw Prize.

17. Gifts will be shipped to the Electricbase branch where the trade account is held on a fortnightly basis within 14 days of the stamps being received by Electricbase Head Office to process the order.
18. The Monthly Prize Draws will be made on 5th May, 5th June, 5th July, 5th August, 5th September and 5th October (“Monthly Prize Draw Dates”)
19. The Monthly Prize Draw winners (“Monthly Prize Draw Winners”) will be chosen from a random draw of Monthly Prize Draw Entries made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The draw will be performed by a random computer process.
20. Monthly Prize Draw Winners will be notified within 7 (seven) days of the Monthly Prize Draw Date by phone and/or email.
21. Monthly Prize Draw Prizes will be despatched to the Winner’s local Electricbase outlet within 7 days of Monthly Prize Draw Date for the Monthly Prize Draw Winner to collect;
22. Gifts and Monthly Prize Draw Prizes are non-exchangeable, non-transferable, and are not redeemable for cash or other prizes. Lost cards cannot be replaced & stamps are non-transferable between cards, customers or accounts;
23. No responsibility can be accepted for any entries not being received;
24. If a Gift or a Monthly Prize Draw Winner rejects their Prize or the entry is invalid or in breach of these Terms and Conditions, the Gift and/or Monthly Prize Draw Prize will be forfeited and the Promoter shall be entitled to select another winner;
25. Subject to the Participants taxation status, the Gift and/or Monthly Prize Draw Prizes (collectively, “Prize(s)”) may be a taxable benefit and subject to tax and/or National Insurance; The Promoter accepts no liability whatsoever in respect of payment of tax or National Insurance or for notification of the benefit earned by a user to any tax authorities. For further information the Participant should contact its nearest Inland Revenue Office;
26. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for Entries or Stamp Cards that are lost, delayed, misdirected or incomplete or cannot be delivered or entered for any technical or other reason. Proof of entry is not proof of receipt by the Promoter;
27. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any costs associated with a Prize and not specifically included in the Prize; expenses which are not specifically stated to be included in the prize are not included in the prize and shall be for the Participant’s own account. For example: unless otherwise stated, Participants will be responsible for arranging and providing their own means of transportation to and from any Prize venue;
28. Gifts and Monthly Prize Draw Prizes are subject to availability. The Promoter retains the right to substitute the Gift(s) and/or the Monthly Prize Draw Prizes (or any part thereof) with another prize of similar value in the event the original Gift(s) and/or the Monthly Prize Draw Prizes offered are not available;
29. The Monthly Prize Draw Winners may be required to take part in promotional activity related to the Monthly Prize Draw and shall participate in such activity on the Promoter's reasonable request;
30. The Monthly Prize Draw Winners consent to the use by the Promoter and its related companies, both before and after the closing date of the Promotion for an unlimited time, of the Monthly Prize Draw Winner's image, photograph and name for publicity purposes (in any medium, including still photographs and films, and on the internet, including any websites hosted by the Promoter and its related companies) and in advertising, marketing or promotional material without additional compensation or prior notice and, in entering the Promotion, all Entrants consent to the same;
31. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for any damage, loss, liabilities, injury or disappointment incurred or suffered by the Participant or his/her family or accompanying companions as a result of entering the Promotion or accepting any Gift or Monthly Prize Draw Prize. Nothing in these Terms and Conditions shall exclude the liability of the Promoter for death, personal injury, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation as a result of its negligence;
32. The Promoter reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, the Promotion with or without prior notice due to reasons outside its control (including, without limitation, in the case of anticipated, suspected or actual fraud);
33. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any Entrants it believes not to be participating within the spirit of the Promotion or suspects of participating in any unfair or unjust behaviour. The Promoter reserves the right to use their discretion in all respects and to enforce any penalty or sanction they deem appropriate.
34. The Promoter shall not be liable for any failure to comply with its obligations where the failure is caused by something outside its reasonable control. Such circumstances shall include, but not be limited to, weather conditions, fire, flood, hurricane, strike, industrial dispute, war, hostilities, political unrest, riots, civil commotion, inevitable accidents, supervening legislation or any other circumstances amounting to force majeure;
35. The Promotion is a standalone promotion and does not amend normal terms and conditions of trading as between the Promoter and the Participant, which will continue to apply;
36. The name and county of the Monthly Prize Draw Winners can be obtained after 30th November 2017 by sending a stamped addressed envelope to the following address: Electricbase Power Ups, Freepost, RSGY-SZSA-GBUE, Avinity,1 Farmborough Close, Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire, HP20 1DQ
37. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the Promoter and its appointed representatives is final in all matters (including any not covered by these Terms and Conditions) and no correspondence shall be entered into;
38. The Promotion will be governed by English law and Entrants submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts;
